"And the gay couriers, get better tips, too!"
Formally Yours introduced itself to the Gay Community via fun raffles in bars like the SixTwenty Club.
"We show up with a half dozen boxes of carnations (12 in each box) and six bottles of Champagne raffled off at Midnight on Saturday... to introduce ourselves to the gay scene.",

Judge rules on prom date
PROVIDENCE, R.I.--A federal judge ruled on May 28 that Aaron Fricke should be allowed to take a male date to his high school senior prom.
U.S. District Judge Raymond J. Pettine overruled the objections of officials at Cumberland High School, affirming Fricke's right to make a statement about
his sexuality.
The prom took place on May 30 amid heavy security. Fearing disruption or violence, the school hired six policemen for the event. Fricke and his date, Paul Guilbert, showed up wearing tuxedoes and danced despite some jeers from the crowd. No incidents were reported.
Realtors take note
PORTLAND, OR (NGTF) Don Clarkson, a gay real-estate broker in Portland, Oregon, would like to develop a nationwide referral service listing realtors who are either gay themselves or accepting of gay/lesbian lifestyles. This is not simply a business matter though such a service should prove to be profitable for realtors willing to be
listed. It is a way of helping keep "gay money" within the community, of strengthening gay neighborhoods, and of lessening the inevitable trauma of a move for the lesbian or gay individuals and couples who will make use of the service.
Interested realtors should write to Don Clarkson, Box 14221, Portland, OR 97214.
